Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts this year led a majority of his colleagues in rejecting President Donald Trump’s efforts to impose sweeping tariffs, redefine birthright citizenship and remove a leader of the Federal Reserve.

A 5-4 majority of the Supreme Court late Monday cleared the way for President Trump to finish his rebuild of the White House East Wing, complete with his beloved ballroom.
